Teacher of the Year Nomination Letter

October 17, 2022
Dear Friends of Paulsboro Public Schools:
Each year the Paulsboro Public Schools participate in a program honoring distinguished educators. Honorees are selected from each of the four schools. The honored teacher and or educational services professional attends a luncheon sponsored by the Gloucester County Superintendents Roundtable. The teachers are identified as “Governor’s Teacher of the Year,” educational services professionals are identified as “Governor’s Educational Services Professional of the Year.”
Teachers who are identified as “Governor’s Teacher of the Year,” are eligible to apply for “Governor’s County Teacher of the Year” and if selected there would be a candidate for additional honors.
Honored educators must have distinguished themselves during the previous school year through exceptional contributions in the following areas:
Have a superior ability to inspire students of all backgrounds and abilities to learn;
Be an exceptionally skilled and dedicated educator;
Have the respect and admiration of students, parents, and colleagues; and
Demonstrate a strong ability to foster excellence in education as evidenced by ongoing contributions to the improvement of student learning and the learning environment.
Citizens, students, and school staff members are encouraged to submit a nomination in support of the teacher or educational services professional they feel best demonstrates the qualities mentioned above. Please use the link below to complete the online nomination form.
